Can vertigo be a symptom of something more serious?

Question by WhiteWolf359: Can vertigo be a symptom of something more serious?
I had a bout of vertigo last month, but after two days on AntiVert, it went away. However, I keep getting little "relapses" or sudden onsets that will last a few moments. They did a CT scan at the hospital and said there was nothing wrong. But can this recurring vertigo be a symptom of something worse? I still have flu-like symptoms as well.

its most likely what they think it is, related to your other symptoms and caused by inner ear disturbance.
